There are many amazing restaurants in the neighborhood that serve all kinds of dishes. Some of the dishes that you can choose from include wraps, burgers, tacos, pizzas, pasta dishes, bowls, and much more. In addition to that, some of these places have an outdoor area where you can enjoy your food, and at many places, you can have unique drinks with your food.

Best Restaurants in the Financial District

Broadstone Bar & Kitchen

Highlights: You can get a large variety of delicious and innovative dishes here, such as the “Five Spice Salmon Wrap”, and it’s also possible to do a cocktail class at this place

Broadstone Bar & Kitchen is a modern gastro pub that is located on Broad Street in the Financial District. You can get delicious, creative dishes at this restaurant.

The restaurant’s dinner menu features various starts, salads, mains, and handhelds.

For example, one of the best items on the dinner menu is the “Blackened Chicken Wrap”, which is made with avocado, bacon, blackened grilled chicken, goat cheese, romaine lettuce, and other ingredients.

Another great dish is the “Pan-Seared Salmon”. This dish comes with pan-seared Atlantic salmon, crispy polenta, zhoug sauce, a Mediterranean pesto sauce, and roasted root vegetables.

You can also get the “Five Spice Salmon Wrap”, which is a wrap that comes with avocado, salmon, pickled ginger, seaweed salad, seasoned rice, napa cabbage, spicy aioli, cucumber, and teriyaki glaze.

Kestè is a restaurant in the Financial District where you can get delicious Neapolitan pizzas made by chef Roberto Caporuscio that will make you feel like you are in Italy.

You can choose from many different types of pizza, including classic and unique ones.

A delicious classic pizza that you can get at this restaurant is the “Marinara”, which is made with fresh garlic, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, and extra virgin olive oil.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and you can enjoy delicious food with a view of the East River, the skyline of Brooklyn, and both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Williamsburg Bridge when you have dinner here.

At the restaurant, you can enjoy delicious modern American food made with seasonal and local ingredients.

Delmonico’s is a fine dining restaurant that was founded in 1837 and is one of the oldest fine dining establishments in the United States. The restaurant is housed in its original building in the Financial District, which is located on Beaver & William Streets.

Delmonico’s has an a la carte menu with classic dishes, some of which date back to the beginnings of the restaurant, as well as contemporary ones. The food that you can get at this place is made with high-quality ingredients.

One of the best dishes to get for dinner is the 22oz “Dry Aged Bone in Ribeye”, which is served with DemKota Ranch.

Another great dish to get is the “Lobster Newberg”, which is made with cognac, tarragon, and lobster coral.

You can also get the “Faroe Island Salmon”, which is served with beet veloute.

Dig is a restaurant with many locations where you can get delicious dishes made with high-quality, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. One of the locations is in the Financial District on Pine Street.

From sandwiches to meat plates to bowls, you can get all kinds of delicious dishes at Dig.

The “Greek Crispy Chicken Platte”, which is made with crispy baked chicken, Greek salad, brown rice, carrots, and garlic aioli, is one of the best dishes to get.

You can also get the “Avo Grain Bowl”. This bowl comes with tomatoes, carrots, lemon and herb farro, farm greens, avocado, cucumbers, and more.

This place serves delicious pub fare. A great item on the menu is the “Chicken Quesadilla”, which is made with sour cream and jack cheese.

Another delicious dish is the “Ulysses Cheeseburger”. This burger and other handhelds are served with a choice of green salad or French fries.

Ulysses’ “Pub Steak”, which is a hanger cut that is served with house salad and French fries, is a great option as well.

You can also choose between two types of desserts at Ulysses. For example, you can get the “Ulysses Ice Cream Sundae”, which is served with hot fudge, whipped cream, and praline, or the “Bourbon Pecan Bread Pudding”, which comes with vanilla ice cream.

Tacombi

Tacombi is a restaurant with several locations in New York City, as well as in other cities in America. You can find one of Tacombi’s locations in the Financial District, at 74 Broad Street, and you can get dinner at this place every day of the week.

You can choose from many different types of authentic Mexican dishes at this restaurant, such as quesadillas, tacos, burritas, tostadas, and much more.

A delicious option on the menu is the “Sinaloa Shrimp Taco”, which is made with fresh seared shrimp, melted chihuahua cheese, cilantro, avocado, pickled onions, and a corn tortilla.

You can also get the “Al Pasto Quesadilla”, which is made with Mexico City-style roasted pork, spicy dried chile salsa, chihuahua cheese, onion, and cilantro.

Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina is a casual-upscale restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Mexican food. The restaurant has two locations, and one of these is located in the Financial District.

The restaurant’s dinner menu features all kinds of tacos, nachos, burritos, salads, enchiladas, fajitas, and much more.

For example, you can get the “De Pollo” burrito, which is a flour tortilla that comes with chicken, refried black beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, pico de Gallo, queso fresco, and more ingredients.

The “Tacos al Pastor” are delicious too. This a dish with four corn tortillas that are filled with pineapple, marinated pork, cilantro, and onion. The tacos are served with refried black beans, Mexican rice, salsa verde, and chile de arbol.

There are also daily specials. For example, on Saturdays, you can get “Enchilada de Carne en Chile Guajillo”, which is a beef enchilada with Guajillo chilis, onions, garlic, oregano, ground cumin, and black pepper.

Schilling Restaurant & Bar

Why you’ll love this place: Schilling Restaurant & Bar serves a modern version of authentic Austrian fare and you can also get delicious desserts here, such as the “Apple Strudel”

Schilling Restaurant & Bar is one of the best restaurants in the Financial District where you can get a modern version of authentic Austrian fare, made by Michilen-starred chef Eduard Frauneder.

You can get lunch and dinner at this place, and the menu features seasonal dishes as well as other types of dishes.

The menu includes three types of sandwiches and burgers. One of the best ones is the “Viennese Chicken Sandwich”, which is made with organic chicken, house pickle, and cucumber-dill salad. It is served with pommes frites.

The “Wiener Schnitzel” is another great great dish to get. It is made with pork or organic chicken and comes with a cucumber dill salad, lingonberry, and potato salad.

Schilling Restaurant & Bar also serves various types of desserts. One of these is the “Apple Strudel”, which comes with vanilla sauce, walnuts, homemade ice cream, and whipped cream.

Underdog

Underdog is a gastropub on Stone Street in the Financial District where you can get delicious American bar fare.

The “Underdog Burger” is one of the best dishes to get for dinner. It is made with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and American cheese, and the burger is served with hand-cut fries.

If you want a vegan burger, that’s possible too. You can choose the “Impossible Burger”, which is made with vegan cheese and avocado.

You can also get the “Crispy Chicken Sandwich”, which comes with ranch dressing, American cheese, hot sauce, coleslaw, and hand-cut fries.

There are different types of fries that you can choose from. For example, you get the “Korean Fries”, which are made with bulgogi beef, kimchi, and spicy mayo.

Toro Loco

Must-try: The “Surf & Turf Burrito”

Toro Loco is a restaurant at 15 Stone Street where you can get delicious Mexican food for dinner and all kinds of drinks, including tequila, every day of the week.

The menu features all kinds of tacos, burritos, salads, plates, and desserts.

The “Pescado” tacos, which are made with beer-battered mami-mahi, pickled cabbage, lettuce, pico de Gallo, and chipotle mayo, are delicious.

You can also get “The Gringo Burger”, which is a burger that is made with tomato, corn salsa, pickle, and pepper jack cheese. It is made with adobo fries and a brioche bun.

One of the best specials on the menu is the “Surf & Turf Burrito”. It comes with shrimp, rice, grilled steak, guacamole, pico de Gallo, and cotija cheese.

The “Churros” are great to get as a dessert. They are served with salted caramel sauce and chocolate sauce.

Route 66 Smokehouse

Route 66 Smokehouse is a restaurant in the Financial District on Stone Street where you can have delicious BBQ and American cuisine for dinner every day of the week.

The restaurant has three different dining areas, which include a year-round outdoor beer garden.

You can choose from many different types of burgers and sandwiches. For example, you can get the “Smoked Brisket Sandwich”, which is made with in-house smoked brisket, pickled jalapeño, slaw, and 1000 island sauce.

Another great option on the menu is the “California Beyond Burger”. This is a plant-based beef burger that is topped with avocado.

Besides sandwiches and burgers, you can get various salads and mains at Route 66 Smokehouse. Another great dish on the menu is the “Pan-Seared Salmon”, which is served with a tri-colored quinoa salad, blood orange vinaigrette, and pomegranate seeds.

In addition to great food, you can also get all kinds of beers at Route 66 Smokehouse, including a selection of American craft beers.

Why you should go to George’s: You can get a large variety of food here, including Mexican classics, Italian pasta dishes, Greek dishes, and more

George’s is a restaurant that was established in 1950 and is known for its big portion plates. You can get a large variety of dishes for dinner here.

Whether you want to have Mexican classics, seafood dishes, Greek food, Italian pasta dishes, or something else, you can have it at George’s.

One of the best dishes to get is “George’s Shish Kabob”, which is made with peppers, onions, and tomato. It is served with a Greek side salad and a choice of rice or French fries.

A great Mexican dish is the “Quesadilla”. You can get a chicken or chorizo quesadilla, which is served with cheese, onions, peppers, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.

The “Italian Lasagna” is also a great option to get.

You can enjoy your food either indoors or outdoors, as there’s a large outdoor area.

Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine

Why you need to visit this place: The dishes that you can get here are made with authentic Cuban recipes

Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine is a restaurant with locations throughout New York City, of which one is located in the Financial District. You can find this location at 76 Fulton Street.

At this restaurant, you can have delicious Cuban food. There are all kinds of sandwiches, entrees, empanadas, and other types of dishes to choose from, and these are made with authentic Cuban recipes.

One of the best dishes on the menu is the “Mojo Pork with a Twist Sandwich”. This sandwich is made with slow-roasted mojo pork, mayo, marinated onions, and other ingredients.

The “Guava and Cheese Empanada” is a great opinion on the menu as well. This is a sweet and savory empanada that is made with sweet guava and cream cheese.

In addition to that, at some of the restaurants that I mentioned, there are events, such as trivia nights. Before deciding where to have dinner in the Financial District, I recommend finding out if there’s an event taking place that you want to attend at one of these places.
