New York City is an amazing city for all kinds of genres of music, and it is also an incredible place for classical music. From large concert halls to small venues that are more intimate, and from modern venues to historic ones, there’s a great venue for classical music to check out for everyone’s liking. In addition to that, some of the best classical music artists perform in New York City.

Carnegie Hall is a venue that is located at 881 Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. This is one of the most prestigious venues for classical music in NYC and many famous musicians have performed here in the past.

The venue is a beautiful place with 3,671 seats spread across 3 different auditoriums.

The exterior of the building has an Italian Renaissance style and was designed by William Tuthill. The venue opened in 1891, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a designated New York City Landmark.

Moreover, the largest auditorium of Carnegie Hall, the Stern Auditorium is a beautiful five-story auditorium with close to 3,000 seats.

Brooklyn Academy of Music

The Brooklyn Academy of Music is a performing arts venue that can be found in Brooklyn. This venue opened in 1861, but it moved to its current location in 1908.

The venue consists of various buildings that are near each other. One of these buildings is the BAM Peter Jay Sharp Building, which was designed by Herts & Tallant in 1908. The location of this building is 30 Lafayette Avenue.

Other buildings of the Brooklyn Academy of Music are the BAM Fisher Building and BAM Strong.

Lots of concerts of classical music take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and it is also possible to listen to other genres of music here. In addition to that, a wide variety of other performances take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The center was founded in 1874 as the Young Men’s Hebrew Association. Nowadays, it has a very varied performing arts program.

You can often go to concerts of classical music at 92NY. For example, you can listen to classical music at the events of the Marshall Weinberg Classical Music Season.

The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music is a music conservatory that is located in Brooklyn.

The theater opened in the year 1929 as a movie palace.
